Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation is a public utility located in upstate New York. Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation had contracted a large systems integrator to develop their Customer Service System. The project was unable to meet its milestones and allocated budget.
Accelerated Solutions was then contracted by the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation end-user community to perform a project assessment. The object of this study was to evaluate the entire development and enhancement process for this multi-year, multi-million dollar project with over 120 project team members. This study included the review of: the organizational structure, project plans, methodology, tools and techniques, as well as, works in process.
Some results of this project provided: management reports, productivity recommendations, review of project plans and Standards and Guidelines.
